The Construction Trades program provides participants with training for entry-level positions in building construction. In addition, specialty stand-alone courses are offered to help students learn and build upon specific skills needed to be more marketable in the building trades industry.

Programs that include on-the-job training prepare students for advancement within their existing job or opportunity to advance in a new career while taking courses. These programs include Apprenticeships or special trade specific, long term training.   

Short term credentials are also available in varying trade areas.

  • Furniture/Woodworking (fall and spring, workshops)

  • HVAC (heating technology (fall) and A/C (spring)
  • Plumbing (fall and spring)
  • Masonry (summer)
  • Welding (MIG, TIG, Stick, & Product fabrication) (fall/spring/summer)
  • Weekend workshops and short-term industry certifications (fall/spring/summer)
