More about The Trade School at Shasta Builders' Exchange
The Trade School at Shasta Builders' Exchange (SBE) is Nationally Accredited as a construction training facility through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) which offers students national recognition, portable credentials and official documentation of training completions through the issuance of wallets cards, transcripts, and certificates. Currently offering Core, Carpentry, Electrical, and Plumbing. We have been providing NCCER training since 2005.
The Trade School at SBE, through a collaborative partnership with the Shasta ~ Trinity ROP, is authorized and recognized by the State of California as an Electrical Training Provider (DAS School #107). This makes it possible for individuals to register as Electrical Trainees to get the state-required training while continuing to legally work in the Electrical field and gain their required hours of experience towards becoming a state-certified journeyperson.
In addition, Shasta Builders' Exchange offers a number of "get to work now" certifications during the day time to help get your foot in the door to that construction job. Sign up for national certifications in forklift, flagging, OSHA 10 hour, and CPR. Other courses in Asbestos Awareness, Trenching and Excavating, Fall Protection, etc., are available once or twice a year. SBE was founded in 1955 and continues to serve the training needs of the far northern region of California.
We work in collaboration with our exchange members, the local job center, and various other agencies to place students and attendees in the construction industry.
